Loft Ensemble In NoHo Returns; Announces Season Nine Lineup

Theater company Loft Ensemble has chosen "de novo," meaning "anew" or "from the beginning," as the theme of its ninth season performances.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — After a yearlong delay due to the coronavirus pandemic, the curtain will rise once again at North Hollywood's Loft Ensemble when its ninth season begins on Oct. 15.

The theater company has chosen "de novo" as its theme this season – which means "anew," or "from the beginning," BroadwayWorld reported. The artistic committee, elected by company members, selected plays that represent a "new approach to theatre fundamentals," according to the musical theater news outlet.
