More Parking Meters Coming to Vineland Avenue

A small strip of Vineland Avenue will be getting 11 new parking meters by the end of October.

The meters will be installed just north of McCormick Avenue in front of Yoga NoHo and an apartment complex, and will allow visitors two hours of paid parking at a time, said Jonathan Hui, a spokesperson with the city's transportation department.

"Parking is at a premium so this will, in a very small way, give autos a better chance at finding a parking space," said Mid-Town NoHo Neighborhood Council Board Member Bob Peppermuller.

Parking meters along Vineland is nothing new, as they already in place along the eastside of the street between Camarillo Street and Magnolia Boulevard.
