New Business Round-Up: 3 New Shops Moving In

We've reported a lot lately about businesses closing shop in the NoHo Arts District like the Avery Schreiber Theatre and St. Anne's Thrift Shop, but a recent drive around town revealed of at least three new ones that are coming to the neighborhood.

The small free-standing building at 10867 Magnolia Blvd., which seemed to stick out like a store thumb in a busy section of the street, will soon be home to Art & Frame Gallery.

That property once housed a drapery company and was vacant for quite some time.

Next, a new pet store called Pet Pals is already up and running at 10644 Burbank Blvd. If you miss the sign, the giant inflatable flea that's an ad for a pest medicine should grab your attention.

With the California Collar Company just down the street, is a pet district starting to come together in North Hollywood?

And finally, just across the street from Pet Pals, an upcoming restaurant called the Sunlight Restaurant is slated to take over Mexican restaurant Don Huarache at 10719 Burbank Blvd.

There's not much activity there other than a new sign, but we'll keep you posted!
