New Student Broadcasting Center Opens at East Valley High

It's lights, camera, action for East Valley High School students in North Hollywood as a new broadcasting center was unveiled at the campus on Wednesday.

L.A. City Councilman Paul Krekorian attended the ribbon cutting for the multi-million dollar facility, which features a control room, a three-camera studio, sound mixing gear, a green screen and other production tools.

"East Valley High School is a center of enrichment, molding young minds into future leaders," the councilman said. "For East Valley to open this new resource, in the heart of the North Hollywood Arts District, is a great opportunity for these student and it’s going to help them become the foundation for one our most important industries here in California for generations to come."
