North Hollywood Teacher's Aide Charged with Sexual Abuse Of Kids

NORTH HOLLYWOOD -- Lino Cabrera, a 27-year-old teacher's aide at a North Hollywood elementary school was arrested and charged on Monday with the sexual abuse of at least six children, ages 10 and 11.
The Los Angeles District Attorney's office filed one count of sexual abuse on a child and five counts of lewd or lascivious acts upon a child against Cabrera, the LAPD said. His bail was set at $850,000.
Allegations of inappropriate behavior were made May 16 against a the aide at Oxnard Elementary School at 10912 Oxnard St., and the investigation determined there were at least six victims, according to a statement from the Los Angeles Police Department.

The investigation led members of the LAPD's Sexually Exploited Child Unit to arrest Cabrera, police said. It was unclear when and where Cabrera was taken into custody.
