Paul Krekorian Sworn Into Office for First Full Term
The councilman holds a ceremony in Sherman Oaks.
Councilman Paul Krekorian was at the Saturday morning to be sworn into office for his first full term serving District 2.
He was joined by the North Hollywood Interfaith Food Pantry, the LAPD Van Nuys Division and the Van Nuys Cadet Program, representatives from the Neighborhood Councils of District 2, and his staff, interns and volunteers. Also in attendance were Councilmen Bill Rosendahl, Tom LaBonge, Paul Koretz, Congressman Brad Sherman, and City Controller Wendy Greuel.
Staff members got the July 4th weekend off to a good start, serving up hot dogs, hamburgers, popcorn and snow-cones to the gathered crowd.
