Police Shooting In North Hollywood Friday Morning

Police said no one was injured in the shooting.

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, CA — A police shooting took place Friday morning in North Hollywood during a man's arrest.

The shooting occurred around 8:30 a.m. at Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers went to the scene after a 911 call of a possible kidnapping suspect, LAPD said.

Officers said they saw a man with a gun, and shots were fired. The 30-year-old suspect was arrested and his name was not immediately available.
