Rent-a-Car Biz to the Movies to Stay in North Hollywood

Cinema Vehicle Services rents out its vehicles to many big-budget action movie flicks.

The rows of cop cars at the Saticoy Street entrance of the lot might make it look like some kind of police storage lot, but its actually part of a massive 82,000-square-foot property stacked with vehicles that are rented out to film studios.

Cinema Vehicle Secrets has lent rides to movies like Die Hard IV, Terminator 3 and Gone in 60 Seconds and recently inked a deal to remain in North Hollywood, the Los Angeles Times reports.

The company extended its lease for 10 years at a $6.1 million price tag.

Other popular films that rented from the company include the 2004 version of Starsky & Hutch, which borrowed the trademark Ford Torino, The Italian Job and Austin Powers, the according to the Times.
