'Top Chef' Contestant Arrested, Suspected of Domestic Violence

Grissom was at his San Fernando Valley home on Tuesday when he got into a "heated argument" with his girlfriend.

A well-known contestant on the “Top Chef” television show has been arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, it was reported today.

Aaron Grissom, 27, was taken into custody about 1:15 p.m. Tuesday by Los Angeles police officers from the North Hollywood Station and was booked on suspicion of a felony-level offense, according to the sheriff’s department.

Bail was set at $50,000, and Grissom was released on Wednesday afternoon, the sheriff’s department reported.

According to TMZ.com , Grissom was at his San Fernando Valley home on Tuesday when he got into a “heated argument” with his girlfriend and allegedly pushed her, injuring her knee.

Grissom was booked on suspicion of inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, TMZ reported. No court date was indicated.
