Woman Sues Miley Cyrus' Sister for Dog Bite in Toluca Lake
Yolande Ngom says Brandi Cyrus' dog, Feather, bit her in the thigh.

Miley Cyrus’ older sister was sued today by a woman who says she was bitten by a German shepherd owned by the actress in Toluca Lake nearly two years ago.
Yolande Ngom, who also uses the name Yolande Mancini, filed the negligence suit in Los Angeles Superior Court against Brandi Cyrus and the family company, Smiley Miley Inc. She’s seeking unspecified damages.
A representative for Cyrus, 27, could not be immediately reached.

Ngom says she was was visiting a friend on Nov. 6, 2012, when she was attacked by Cyrus’ dog Feather as the plaintiff stepped off an elevator.
The animal was on a leash being held by Cyrus employee Laura Rudy, but the handler “failed to do anything to prevent the attack,” the suit alleges.

Ngom suffered a bite in her right thigh as well as emotional distress, according to her suit, which says she worked for many years as a model and will now have to give up that career.
Feather had nearly bitten another person several months before Ngom was hurt, according to the suit, which also names the property’s homeowners association and Rudy.
