3 Suspects Arrested In Fatal Oceanside Shooting
Police arrested three men in connection with the death of a 26-year-old man who was killed when someone fired into an apartment.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Police on Tuesday announced the arrests of three suspects in connection with the shooting death of a 26-year-old man in Oceanside last month.
All three suspects were arrested Thursday on suspicion of murdering 26-year- old Alex Hamilton by shooting into the apartment where he was staying with friends. The suspects include Vista residents Mason William Brant, 23, and Elijah Gabriel Marrero, 19, and 31-year old Bryan Lee Teater of Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
Brant and Teater were already in jail on unrelated charges when they were arrested in connection with Hamilton's death.

Police have not announced a motive for the June 18 shooting. The deadly gunshot crashed through a bedroom window at a residential complex in the 1800 block of College Boulevard at about 1:10 a.m., striking Hamilton in the head, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
Several other occupants of the apartment ran outside following the shooting, and two took shelter in a bathroom until patrol officers arrived, Oceanside police spokesman Tom Bussey said.

Paramedics took Hamilton to Palomar Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, Lt. Bill Weese said.
