5 Questions: Interfaith Service's Veterans Outreach in North County [Video]
Patch talks to Dean Dauphinais, manager of Interfaith Community Service's for Transitional Housing Program for Homeless Veterans.
Dean Dauphinais, manager of Interfaith Community Service's for Transitional Housing Program for Homeless Veterans, spoke to Patch about the Interfaith's veterans program and the challenges those leaving the military face today.
Their veterans program offers:
- Transitional Housing
- Employment Assistance
- Homeless Prevention
- Mental Health Services
It also has a 63 percent success rate — that's 15 percentage point higher than the national average, Duphinais said. He attributes it, in part, to the agency's "sticktoitiveness" — working with veterans to attain long-term goals by sticking with them through the toughest of times.
