Arrest Made in Shooting Death Friday of Man Found on Bike Path
Detectives arrested Torrey Michael Deangelis, 20, on Sunday in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Ozzy Maturano.

A probationer is being held without bail for allegedly gunning down another young man during a gang dispute in Oceanside, authorities reported Monday.
Detectives arrested Torrey Michael Deangelis, 20, on Sunday in connection with the shooting death of 18-year-old Ozzy Maturano.
The deadly gunfire erupted shortly after 6:30 p.m. Friday during a confrontation between two groups of rival gang members alongside a stretch of train tracks off the 300 block of Neptune Way, Lt. Aaron Doyle said.
Passers-by found the the victim lying face-down on a bike path, suffering from a single gunshot wound. He died at the scene.
Deangelis, an Oceanside resident, was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of murder, assault with a deadly weapon, a probation violation and a gang-activity allegation. He was being held without bail pending arraignment, scheduled for Tuesday afternoon.
