Authorities Identify Oceanside Man Found Dead in Carmel Valley
California Highway Patrol officers discovered the body of Joe Nevarez of Oceanside on the east side of the freeway, just north of Del Mar Heights Road, about 7:30 a.m. Monday,
Authorities released the name today of a 35-year-old man found dead in a crumpled car on an embankment alongside Interstate 5 in the Carmel Valley area.
California Highway Patrol officers discovered the body of Joe Nevarez of Oceanside on the east side of the freeway, just north of Del Mar Heights Road, about 7:30 a.m. Monday, the Medical Examiner's Office reported.
Investigators believe the fatal accident involved only one vehicle and occurred early Sunday morning, according to the county agency.
