Base to Hold 4th of July Bash

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - Camp Pendleton will host the annual 4th of July Beach Bash in observance of Independence Day at the 21 Area Del Mar Beach Resort, Wednesday.

The Beach Bash will offer quality entertainment and recreational activities from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. and is open to authorized patrons and civilian guests of Marine Corps Installations West - Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.  Patrons will have the opportunity to enjoy live entertainment, a variety of food and drinks, an area for special guests, and a family fun zone containing interactive games and recreational activities.

An estimated 45,000 patrons are expected to attend this year's celebration.  A fireworks display will start at 9 p.m.

Authorized military patrons may bring civilian friends to the beach, according to the event's information page.
