Firefighters To Continue Fundraising Thursday
Camp Pendleton firefighters will be near the base's main gate from 9 a.m. to noon Thursday collecting cash for the Burn Institute from motorists.

Camp Pendleton firefighters are volunteering an extra day to "Fill the Boot" for charity 9 a.m. to noon Thursday near the base's main gate.
They are collecting money in their boots to donate to the Burn Institute, a nonprofit health agency dedicated to reducing the number of burn injuries in Southern California.

The institute recognized the department last year for raising $200,000 from the drive.
