Camp Pendleton Marine Killed in Afghanistan

Lance Cpl. Joshua E. Witsman of Covington, Ind., died in Helmand Province on Wednesday, the Department of Defense reported.

The Pentagon today released the name of a 23-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine killed in combat last week in Afghanistan.

Lance Cpl. Joshua E. Witsman of Covington, Ind., died in Helmand Province on Wednesday, the Department of Defense reported.

Witsman was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
