Driver Ejected, Killed In Rollover Crash In Oceanside

The 33-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

OCEANSIDE, CA — A man was killed in a rollover crash over the weekend in Oceanside, authorities said.

The single-vehicle collision happened at 2:19 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of El Camino Real and Vista Oceana, according to the Oceanside Police Department. The driver of a 2007 Scion TC traveling southbound on El Camino Real crashed into a curb, rolled over and was ejected from the car.

The 33-year-old driver was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. His name was withheld pending family notification.

The driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, police said. It was unknown whether alcohol or speed was a factor in the crash.
