
The fest, sponsored by the Oceanside Chamber, includes live music and entertainment, and a children’s fun zone with rides, inflatable jumps, and face painting. Expected guests include Baby Shamu and the Padres Pad Squad. Local restaurants, including Hunter Restaurant, Hooters and Little Caesar’s Pizza, will offer food served by local military and political dignitaries.
Military land and amphibious displays will be featured on the beach.
All active-duty military and their dependents must bring ID to get unlimited rides, activities and free lunch.
The event is open to the public. Wristbands are available for children’s rides at $10 per person. Entertainment and military displays are free for everyone.
