
A memorial paddle-out was scheduled for Sunday to honor the memory of former Chargers star Junior Seau in front of his Oceanside home.
The paddle-out was scheduled for noon in front of Seau's beachfront home at 604 South The Strand.
A private memorial service was also scheduled for Sunday, TMZ reported. Earlier, the Charger's chaplain said services would be held next weekend at Oceanside High School.

Tiaina Baul "Junior" Seau, Jr., 43, died Wednesday from a self- inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, according to the San Diego County Medical Examiner's Office and Oceanside police.
A woman who identified herself as Seau's girlfriend had made an emergency call shortly after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday to report finding him unconscious at the house, police said.

Memorial services had been tentatively scheduled for May 11-12 at New Venture Christian Fellowship and Oceanside High School, according to Shawn Mitchell, pastor of the church and Chargers team chaplain.
