Free Women's Self-Defense Class Offered

 is offering a free self-defense class for women this month.

The hour-long session will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 29 at 515 Vista Way in Oceanside.

“We feel it’s important for … women to learn and develop some type of basic and effective self-defense skills,” Owner Mark Hopkins of Carlsbad stated.

The class is open for females from the age of 10 and up.

Dojo Americana is also starting a Jiu-Jitsu class for women.
