On Friday, Anonymous hacked into sensitive emails from the lawyers who defended the last Marine on trial for the 2005 killing of 24 unarmed Iraqis in Haditha, reports Mashable.com. The group released the documents from the law office of Puckett & Faraj Friday and are using Twitter to enlist the help of hackers to help build a search engine to weed through the documents. The lawyers' website has been down since Friday.
Attorney Neal Puckett confirmed the breach and told the North County Times that it has filed a report with the FBI.

The attorney's client, Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich pled guilty last month to one charge of negligent dereliction of duty in connection with the deaths of 19 of the Iraqis. He was stripped of his rank, but had been facing 152 years in jail for manslaughter charges that were dropped during a plea agreement.
A representative of the law firm told Patch there would be "no statement on the matter."
