Pendleton Marine Killed by Afghan Soldier
Sgt. John P. Huling of West Chester, Ohio, died in Helmand Province, Afghanistan on Sunday.
The Pentagon today released the name of a 25-year-old Camp Pendleton-based Marine killed in combat this week in Afghanistan.
Sgt. John P. Huling of West Chester, Ohio, died in Helmand Province on Sunday, the Department of Defense reported. According to the International Security Assistance Force, he was fatally shot by someone wearing an Afghan National Army uniform.
Huling was a member of 7th Engineer Support Battalion, 1st Marine Logistics Group, I Marine Expeditionary Force.
