Join Patch at the Haunted Market Tonight

The Sunset Market will transform into the tonight and will be full of ghouls, goblins and lost souls. A zombie might crawl out for your brain, so come prepared. It will only get scarier.

But what can be more frightening than the supernatural?

One experience is sure to make your skin crawl and will haunt your dreams for years to come: a conversation with your local editor, Daniel Woolfolk.

Look for the Patch coffin (okay, a booth). He will ask you for scary and not-so-scary tales of the community and will use unearthly words, such as blogging and event listings, that will make your children slip into a slumber, even as they stand.

But don't worry, the Haunted Market will host other, less ghastly, events:

• 6:00 p.m - Costume Parade (ages 12 and under)

• 5:00 pm to 7:00 p.m. - Trick or Treat among the vendor booths (ages 12 and under)

• 8:00 p.m. - Evil laugh and blood curdling scream contest  on the main stage.
