Lawyer: Note Shows Perez Not involved in Killgore Murder
Authorities found a telling suicide note near an injured suspect hours after finding the body of a Camp Pendleton spouse near Temecula, the Associated Press reports.
A suicide note found in a hotel room with an injured Jessica Lynn Lopez—hours after authorities recovered the body of Brittany Killgore—shows that she is solely responsible for her death, Jeff Reichert, the lawyer for Louis Ray Perez told a court this week, the Associated Press reports.
Both Perez and Lopez have been charged with murder in Killgores' April 13 death. Killgore's husband, Cory— a Marine who was deployed to Afghansitan at the time—released a surrounding her death.
