Man Found Dead In Dirt Lot In Oceanside
Detectives from the Oceanside Police Department's Crimes of Violence Unit are investigating the homicide.

OCEANSIDE, CA — Police were investigating a homicide Wednesday after a man was found dead in a dirt lot in Oceanside.
Officers responded to a report of a person with "obvious traumatic injuries" shortly before 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in the 400 block of Foussat Road, where police found a man dead in a dirt lot, according to the Oceanside Police Department.
The man's identity was withheld pending family notification.

Detectives from the department's Crimes of Violence Unit were investigating the homicide.
