Marine Injured in Oceanside Motorcycle Crash
He attempted to split lanes in stopped traffic at a high rate of speed, the Highway Patrol reports.

A 22-year-old Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton was hospitalized with a compound fracture to his right leg Wednesday morning after the motorcycle he was driving hit a stopped car in Oceanside, according to the Highway Patrol.
Justin Beyerl was riding a 2005 Honda Shadow westbound on state Route 78 at 7:20 a.m. when he encountered stopped traffic just west of Jefferson Street, said Officer Chris Parent. Beyerl began to split lanes at 70 to 75 mph and clipped the left rear of a 2000 Ford Taurus, Parent said.
After Beyerl was ejected, the motorcycle continued to split the lanes for 500 feet without touching another vehicle, Parent said, until it finally fell over and hit two cars.
