Miley Cyrus Declines Marine Corps Ball Invitation (Poll)
The Disney star was asked out to the Marine Corps ball this weekend aboard Camp Pendleton, but won't make it because of scheduling conflicts, a base spokesman said.
Miley Cyrus might be leaving a Camp Pendleton Marine good and broken after declining a to attend Saturday's Marine Corps Ball on the base.
A scheduling conflict has kept the 18-year-old singer and actress from attending to ball with Lance Cpl. Ian Hart, a base spokesman told Patch in an email.
Hart's request was part of a trend by Marines asking celebrities to the ball. Some of the celebrities have accepted the requests.
