Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Suspected Hit-And-Run Crash In North County
Investigators sought the public's help in identifying a vehicle that may have been involved in the crash.

SAN MARCOS, CA — A motorcyclist was seriously injured over the weekend in a suspected hit-and-run crash in San Diego's North County, authorities said.
The crash happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of South Rancho Santa Fe Road and Lake San Marcos Drive in San Marcos, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. Deputies and personnel from the San Marcos Fire Department found a motorcyclist down in the roadway.
The motorcyclist was taken to a hospital with serious injuries, the sheriff's office said. No other information about the victim was available.

Investigators sought the public's help in identifying a vehicle that may have been involved in the crash. The vehicle was described as a newer model white sedan that might have damage on the driver's side.
Authorities asked anyone with information about the crash to call the sheriff's San Marcos station at 760-510-5200.
