Those selected to be their branch's member of the year will be recognized in the Military Times newspapers and at a Washington, D.C. ceremony.

If so, you can nominate that sailor or Marine to be the Military Times Service Member of the Year.

Those selected to be their branch’s member of the year will be recognized in the Military Times newspapers and at a Washington, D.C. ceremony.  All expenses are paid. Pentagon officials and members of congress attend the it, according to the Military Times.

Nominations end April 28.
