Oceanside Fighter to Be Featured in UFC Show [Video]
Erin Beach will be a compete for a UFC contract in FX's new reality series The Ultimate Fighter live.
Oceanside native Erin Beach will be one of 32 contestants punching and grappling for an Ultimate Fighting Championship contract in FX’s new reality series The Ultimate Fighter live.
The show will premier at 9 p.m. Friday, March 9 with a two-and-a-half episode that is live on the east coast and will run for 13 consecutive weeks, according from a release from the show.
Each episode will feature live fights and will end with a championship June 1.

Beach is known for his speed, according to his profile on Black House Team Nogueira. A professional boxer, he became a mixed martial arts professional in 2008, after developing his grappling and striking skills.
The previously announced coaches for the two teams will be current UFC bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz and former WEC featherweight champion and current top contender, Urijah Faber. Cruz and Faber are no strangers to each other. The popular UFC superstars and rivals have split two previous fights and will clash for a third time at UFC 148 in Las Vegans July 7.
