Oceanside Homicide Victim Identified

OCEANSIDE, CA — Authorities Wednesday publicly identified a man who was fatally shot in San Diego's North County.

Justin Bazan, 34, of Vista was found mortally wounded at 2:05 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of College Boulevard and Olive Drive in Oceanside, according to the Oceanside Police Department. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives from the department's Crimes of Violence Unit were investigating the homicide.
