Oceanside Police Chief's Wife Rushed to Hospital
Brinda McCoy, 49, who was on bail awaiting sentencing for shooting at police was found bleeding in her home Sunday, according to the North County Times.

Brinda McCoy, 49, who was on bail awaiting sentencing for assault convictions, was found bleeding in her Cypress home Sunday, the North County Times reports.
Sources told City News Service that she had cut herself on purpose, according to the Times.
McCoy—who is married to Oceanside Police Chief Frank McCoy—was rushed to a hospital and a judge later revoked her bail, the newspaper reports.

Last week, McCoy was convicted of five assault charges stemming from a 2010 standoff in which she shot at police officers. She faces more than 20 years in prison.
