Panca Offers A Taste of Peru

Iole Revilla and Miguel Montoya moved from Lima, Peru nearly a decade ago and the couple decided to bring its flavors to Oceanside in February by opening Panca Peruvian Rotisserie at 1902 S. Coast Highway.

The chicken is marinaded with red peppers and the potatoes are cut fresh in-house. The restaurant offers a slow-cooked pork shoulder sandwich that contains sweet potato chips.

Many argue that everything sounds better in Spanish, so here’s a guide to some of the items on its menu.
