Panetta: Military Could Face Devastating Cuts

Cuts could affect benefits and families, Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta warned Monday, after the congressional "supercommittee" failed in its task of cutting the deficit.

A congressional “supercommittee” failed in its task of cutting the deficit Monday, worrying Secretary of Defense Leon E. Panetta.
