Pendleton Marine Found Dead

No signs of foul play, officials say.

Camp Pendleton officials released the name of a Marine found dead Sunday.

Pfc. Thomas J. Angelo, 21, of Rochester, N.Y. was an avionics technician in the Third Marine Aircraft Wing.

There is no sign of foul play, according to Naval Criminal Investigative Service spokesman Ed Buice. The cause of death is currently under investigation.

Angelo entered the Marine Corps Aug. 26, 2008 and has been awarded the National Defense Service Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
