Pendleton Conducting Day & Night Artillery Training
The training begins Saturday and can be heard up to 50 miles away.
Camp Pendleton artillery units will conduct 24-hour live-fire training into the Zulu and Whiskey impact areas from 6 a.m. Saturday until noon Tuesday.
Depending on atmospheric conditions, the sound of the explosions may be amplified and heard up to 50 miles away.
