Pet of the Week: Handsome Tank

Tank is so handsome, and is just 10 months old.  He is good with older/taller kids (tall enough to run and play with him), and he is fine other friendly dogs, and he is even ok around cats too!  He romps in his play group with some other dogs at the animal shelter every day.  He is house-trained, and he knows the commands “sit,” “lay,” and “stay.” So what's not to love here?!  Seriously, this guy is a GEM.  Come on out to the shelter and spend some time playing with him.  You just might decide to make him the newest member of your family.  Lucky you!  

His adoption fee is $50, and that includes neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, and microchip ID. 

Because Tank is part Pit Bull Terrier (and we think maybe mixed with some kind of retriever), he needs to have a new home off base. He hasn't done anything wrong at all, - - he just happens to be partly one of the breeds not allowed to live on base. So we are going to give him an HHD!  That's an Honorable Humane Discharge from life on base. Come meet this handsome boy. 

The public is welcome to come adopt the patriotic pets at the Camp Pendleton Animal Shelter! All pets are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and micro-chipped prior to adoption.
