Photo Gallery: Semper Ride on Camp Pendleton
More than 1,300 Marines attended the motorcycle ride on base to learn more about riding safety.
More than 1,300 Marines took part in the fourth annual Semper Ride on Camp Pendleton, May 18. According to the event’s organizers.
The motorcycle safety program took part because more marines were losing their lives riding motorcycles than in combat. The number decreased by 48% after the program was started in 2009, organizers told Patch in an email.
A Semper Ride photographer was on hand to catch the action.
