Photo: Ribbon Cut at Mainside Pavilion Park

The Marines of Base Maintenance built the pavilion park through the participation and support of the Base Qualified Recycling Program.

More than 30 Marines and civilians gathered for a ribbon cutting ceremony during the grand opening of the Mainside Pavilion, Monday.

The projects construction was done in participation of the Department of Defenses’ Qualified Recycling Program.

The program generates revenue from the sale of recyclable materials, and after paying overhead; the remaining revenue is used to fund projects that benefit Marines, sailors and the families that live on base.
