Photos: Ford Mustang Catches on Fire

Oceanside resident Jimmy Schneider captured photos with his camera phone Saturday afternoon when a late-model Ford Mustang caught fire on Freeman Street near Seagaze Drive.

No injuries were reported and the owner was able to recover some belongings from the vehicle, Oceanside Fire Department Battalion Chief Joe Ward told Patch in an email. The cause of the fire was undetermined and the owner's insurance company will determine the amount lost, he said.
