Fitness trainer Anthony Steel started the Beach Fitness Camp early last year with a handful of participants. Now the group regularly draws more than 50 people who take part in a grueling regimen of aerobic and calisthenic exercises. All participants work on the same routine, but are grouped by their ability levels.
“They’ve broken through all different types of fear barriers,” Steel said.
