Poll: Marine Injured in Occupy Protest Receives Veterans' Support

Veterans around the country are gathering in support of Iraq veteran and former Marine, Scott Olsen, who was injured last month at Occupy Oakland protest when a projectile, shot by police, fractured his skull.

While veterans have been a part of the Occupy Wall Street movement, which began in September, former service members are more supportive of the movement after the fellow veteran was injured, the Marine Corps Times reported.
