Rail Closures Will Affect North County Lines
The Amtrak Pacific Surfliner, which passes through Oceanside, will be affected. The NCTD Coaster will not be.

A portion of the LOSSAN coastal rail line between Orange County and Downtown San Diego will be shut down again this weekend as construction crews work to improve passenger and freight rail services by installing a new rail bridge in the corridor.
SANDAG will continue the construction of a new rail bridge at Trestles beach, near the Orange County line. Rail passenger impacts are as follows:

Amtrak Pacific Surfliner: Services will be limited between Irvine and San Diego and motorcoach service will be provided to passengers traveling between Irvine, Oceanside, Solana Beach and Santa Fe Depot stations.
Metrolink: Metrolink trains will not operate on Saturdays or Sundays between Orange County and San Diego during the weekend. Some late night trains will also be affected on Friday, November 4.

NCTD COASTER: No impacts to service.
Temporary bus schedules will be posted at stations along the corridor from Los Angeles to San Diego. Schedules will be coordinated to minimize passenger inconvenience, though passengers are encouraged to check online schedules for more detailed information.
