Smoke Advisory Issued As Brush Fire Burns At Camp Pendleton: Officials
About 200 acres burn in a brush fire at Camp Pendleton Saturday evening, U.S. Marine Corps officials said. A smoke advisory has been issued.

CAMP PENDLETON, CA — A smoke advisory has been issued as a 200-acre brush fire burns within the Zulu Impact Area at Camp Pendleton Saturday evening, the U.S. Marine Corps said.
Though smoke may be visible, there isn’t any threat to personnel or structures at the Marine base, according to officials.
The North County Fire Protection District also issued a smoke advisory, but said that while smoke might be visible, there is no fire threat to Fallbrook, Bonsall and Rainbow.

Fire crews are battling the Roblar Fire, which started around 2 p.m. on the base near Case Springs Road, Cal Fire said.
There were no injuries or evacuations reported in the fire, which was zero percent contained as of 4:45 p.m.

“Cal Fire is an assisting agency, but we have sent air and ground resources,'' a public information officer said.
