Suicide Awareness Walk Will be Military-Themed
This year's theme of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention's annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk Saturday in San Diego will be "Serving Our Veterans, Armed Forces and Their Families."

Military suicides will be the focus Saturday when the San Diego Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention hosts its annual Out of the Darkness Community Walk.
This year’s theme will be “Serving Our Veterans, Armed Forces and Their Families,” and will be held at De Anza Cove in Mission Bay Park in San Diego.
There is no fee for the taking part, but the organization will award prizes to top fund raisers. One of over 250 community walks taking part nationally this year, it will help fun local and national efforts for suicide prevention education and advocacy, according to a release from the foundation.
