Suspected Oceanside Burglar Arrested
Police arrested a Vista man in connection with Oceanside burglaries.

A 36-year-old man Vista man was behind bars today after detectives searched his residence and found property believed to be linked to a series of commercial burglaries, along with drugs and an illegal weapon.
Brian Collier was arrested Thursday on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and possession of an illegal weapon, Oceanside police Lt. Leonard Mata said.
Collier was being held in the Vista Detention Facility on $25,000 bail, according to police and jail records.

The burglaries at Pacific Turbine and Coola Suncare in Oceanside and Youngdale Manufacturing in Vista, date back five months,.

That led to a search warrant being issued for a residence on Vale View Drive in Vista.
Property from the businesses -- including a computer -- as well as methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and brass knuckles were found, Mata said.
Police said the investigation was ongoing. Additional charges could be added and additional suspects could be identified.
