Teen Stabbed At House Party In San Diego's North County

FALLBROOK, CA — A teenager was stabbed at a house party Thursday in northern San Diego County, authorities said.

The stabbing happened shortly before 2 a.m. Thursday at a home in the 1700 block of Calmin Drive in Fallbrook, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Office. The 16-year-old boy was taken to a hospital with a non-life-threatening stab wound.

Deputies arrived at the residence to see a car driving away at high speed, Lt. Darrell McNeal said. The vehicle was found in the 1600 block of E. Mission Road, where it had crashed into a building.

Four suspects were detained in connection with the stabbing, including a 17-year-old who was found in possession of a loaded firearm, McNeal said. The other suspects were a 23-year-old, 18-year-old and a 16-year-old.

The investigation was ongoing.
