Traffic Resumes on Northbound I-5

An afternoon fire near Camp Pendleton had caused two lanes of traffic to stop on Interstate 5. Delays reached Carlsbad.

A traffic blockage on the northbound lanes of Interstate-5 caused by a Monday afternoon fire near Camp Pendleton has been cleared and traffic is now moving at a normal pace. 

Traffic was at a standstill from Las Pulgas Road to parts of Carlsbad, according to the Patch commuter app.

A reader submitted photo to KGTV 10 News in San Diego shows a trash fire on the side of the road.
