Trial Set for Marine Charged with Manslaughter
Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich will go to trial in January.
A trial has been set for January in the trial of, Staff Sgt. Frank Wuterich, a Camp Pendleton Marine accused of leading a team that killed some two dozen civilians in Haditha, Iraq in 2005, , the North County Times reports.
The incident is said to have happened after a bomb blast killed a fellow team member. All of his appeals have been denied.
A defense fund has been set up for Wuterich.
